Grab a large black garbage bag and set yourself a time challenge to see how quickly you can fill it. Decide before you start whether the content will really go in the bin or whether they are good enough to go to a local charity or other good cause. If you do decide to fill a charity bag just make sure you take it to the charity shop the same day – otherwise it will just be clutter in a bag. We love taking our thing we don't want to keep or have outgrown to The CF Storehouse! It's located right here in Crossville. Less fortunate patrons are able to come to the CF Store House and pick up items they need without having to pay a dime.
Start with finding 3 large boxes and label them: Trash, Charity, Keep. As you declutter your chosen area pop items in the relevant box. The contents of the Trash box can immediately be thrown out or, even better, recycled. The Charity box can be put in the back of the car ready to drop off as soon as you can. And the contents of the final Keep boxes you can reserve the right size unit and bring them over to us at Cumberland Storage. Ahh so easy…
